1. What is View Finder?

View Finder (“the Service”) is a photography location app that scores locations in Puglia, Italy, based on live light conditions, weather, and your personal preferences. The Service is operated by [COMPANY NAME](“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Bari, Italy.

The Service is currently in beta. This means features may change, be removed, or be temporarily unavailable. We make no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose during the beta period.

2. Beta testing programme

As a beta tester, you receive:

• Full Studio-tier access for the duration of the beta period at no charge.
• 3 months of Pro-tier access, free of charge, when the Service launches commercially — expected summer 2026. This reward is granted to accounts that participated meaningfully in the beta.

We reserve the right to end the beta period at any time and transition to paid tiers. We will give at least 14 days' notice before any free access is removed. The 3-month Pro credit will be applied automatically to eligible accounts at launch.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when signing up. Using false or someone else's details is not permitted.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions is not allowed.
• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We will delete your personal data within 30 days (except where we are legally required to retain it).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its data.
• Use the Service in a way that damages, disables, or impairs it.
• Submit false or misleading location suggestions or feedback.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local laws.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow third parties to access the Service through your account.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Location and photography information

Location scores, sun positions, weather data, and camera settings provided by View Finder are for informational and creative guidance purposes only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate for any specific time or place.

Photography involves inherent risks — uneven terrain, tidal areas, weather hazards, and private property. You are solely responsible for your own safety and for ensuring you have permission to photograph at any location. We accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of information provided by View Finder.

Before flying a drone, always verify current airspace restrictions independently. Drone information in the app is indicative only and must not be relied upon as legal clearance to fly.

6. Content you submit

When you submit a location suggestion or beta feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and incorporate that content into the Service. You retain ownership of anything you write.

You confirm that any content you submit is your own, is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and does not infringe any third-party rights.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Paid subscription tiers (Explorer, Pro, Studio) are planned to launch in summer 2026. When they launch:

• Subscriptions will be billed monthly or annually, in advance.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we do not offer prorated refunds for the remaining period.
• Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable VAT. We reserve the right to change prices with at least 30 days' notice.
• If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. Access may be downgraded to the free tier if payment is not resolved within 7 days.

Under EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase of a new subscription, unless you have actively begun using the paid features — in which case you waive this right by agreeing to these terms.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, scoring algorithms, and location data in View Finder are owned by [COMPANY NAME] or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, [COMPANY NAME] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you benefit from mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence that these terms cannot override.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy and the applicable laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bari, Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings locally.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform to resolve disputes.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will notify you by email and with an in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before the changes take effect.
